Neural System Skinning Iterations

In these renders I'm looking to give form to the neural system that I've been working on that uses a series of springs, clusters, curves and roving forces. The curves that generated the surface seen in these images are done in a vertical arrangement, connecting to the cubes that can be seen representing the different layers of a cognitive response to external stimuli.
